More than 30 people made up the Bike Alpharetta contingency for the seventh annual Georgia Rides to the Capitol event on March 27, 2012. We joined several hundred other cyclists for the 27-mile, police-escorted ride to the Capitol. The ride raises support for the development of a regional-scale bicycle network of both on-road facilities and multi-use-trails, and cycling connections to major transit facilities, activity centers, and schools. Thank you for everyone who participated, especially Alpha Bikes, which was one of the event sponsors.
