The annual Bikes For Kids community program concluded December 13, 2025 to support the Toyland at North Fulton Community Charities (NFCC). Bike Alpharetta, along with more than 133 volunteers and 12 community partners collected, repaired and prepped hundreds new and previously-loved bikes and scooters in ONE DAY, with 277 going to NFCC’s Toyland for families in need during the holidays. A total of 277 new helmets were provided as well. More than 20 used bikes and new helmets were also provided to the Pedal Forward non-profit.
Back in 2007, the Mullenbach family started the program with 65 bicycles collected in their Johns Creek neighborhood. Bikes For Kids has now provided 5,747 bicycles, tricycles and scooters, as well as 2,901 new youth helmets, all free of charge to NFCC across 19 years.
Have a bicycle, or two, to donate in spring or summer? You can donate them to them to the NFCC Thrift Shop, 11270 Elkins Road, Roswell, GA 30076. Or just hold any items until after Labor Day, as the seasonal program restarts in the fall (check Facebook for updates).
