With a focus on safety for vulnerable road users, as well as people enjoying a ride, roll, run or walk on trails, Bike Alpharetta connected with the City of Alpharetta on a number of topics, including re-striping some roads with bike lanes and wide shoulders. We are also providing consultation to the City on identifying recommended Bike Routes to connect the Greenway and Alpha Loop to parks and local businesses. And when Pedal Forward hosts bike camps in Alpharetta, we are there to provide new helmets.

On the lighter side of advocacy, we hosted our first Ice Cream Social ride, gathered members to enjoy the 4th of July Drone Show at City Centre (thank you Alpharetta Parks), and continue quarterly Adopt-A-Mile roadside cleanups.

What is planned going forward? Well, we need people to provide more ideas on how we can be more effective with advocacy for safer cycling and getting people outdoors on our trails.
